Rock Band is much more clean cut. GH has alot more graphic flaws. And the instruments are alot high quality for RB, the GH drums look like a 3 year olds toys.

World tour sounds sweet, with the song editor. I've played GH instore and the graphics are pretty lame, i have never seen Rockband though.
Leaning towards Rockband because i wanna sing
But you can in GH:WT also

Waste of money, I am 85% sure the symbols are gonna shatter. And every forum you go to people are going to be bitching left and right. Also, foot pedal looks plastic like RB1, it's gonna break.

Cymbals actually look they can take a beating, I saw a video of Everlong and the rolls were purely on the left cymbal.

Yeah I have seen a bunch of videos on the drums and the cymbals are really strong. They also said there going to be selling metal pedals in stores now so that will help.

RB2.
The games themselves will probably be equal (yeah, GH WT has that song editor, but i haven't been impressed with it at all.) so it really comes down to which songs are on which game, and at that even, which type of songs are on which game. RB has had more "easy-going" songs, songs that are fun on every instrument in some way shape or form, but not necessarily challenging. the GH songs are way more challenging, but that isn't always fun to play.
Oh yeah, and RB will inevitably have a much bigger song selection, between all the RB1 setlist and DLC + the 80 or so with the disk + the 25 OXM told me were coming in october + any other DLC they throw out.
yeah, i'm a little biased.

Some people prefer harder songs to be fun.
And apparently GH is going all out on DLC, including such groups as Van Halen and Sublime, all master tracks, just like the disc.
It really depends on what you prefer
CIRCLES OR RECTANGLES?!?!?!?!?
