Default quality test and help (s-vid)

I got a 4 way dist. amp like in profen's tutorial. I now capture in s-video with my dazzle plat. 170. Here's my quality straight raw without no rendering or cutting.

.mp4 gives me the best quality. Downloading is recommended.

Now how can I cut my clips and compress to a decent size without losing quality? I've tried many different ways but can't get it right. Does anyone else capture with s-video in .mp4 format?

Yea I already tried that. The quality doesn't come out as good as mp4.
