MAC Editing
Okay, so I have a Macbook, which I'd rather use, then my PC. Even though my PC is a beast rig.
Anyway, I'd just prefer to use my macbook for ease of use. Could anyone recommend me to a good capture card, and programs etc? I'd just like to see how well I can edit my footage for my upcoming montage, I don't really have too much experience with video editing. Also, if anyone is prepared to edit my beastly clips just hit me up! I'm also willing to pay too  Much appreciated -Fox

I can tell you don't use a dazzle 90 on English TV's. I made the mistake of buying one to find out I can only record in PAL 50. Not good.

For editing use Final Cut Pro.
Period.

haha thanks for the heads up. I was going to buy a similar one to that I think.
But after I just stupidly made this thread, I think it'll make more sense just to do it on my PC. And then after thinking that through, I think it'll be too much time and effort for me to bother xD I heard QsK King is a beast with montage editing, does he still do that stuff? And how much are we looking at? - Money wise. I'd still need someone to capture all my clips for me. But I seem to be asking for too much considering I just joined the forums! - sorry. I don't mind paying for some stuff too. Thanks again. EDIT: I'm so fricken indecisive, it's not even funny! But if anyone is willing to capture my clips and send them to me, that'd be awesome, I wanna give it a shot at editing stuff with final cut pro ;P

Yeah King uses Vegas. He has an editing package out that costs money, but is definatly worth buying from what I have heard if you want to get good. He also has a youtube video of the basics.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5-uXHPemwo My capture card was around £120 and you can get vegas for free. PM King to see if he still has his pack. I think it only cost $10 or so (£5). If you gather all your clips on your file share and on your account, somepeople may capture for free. Some charge. Just explore the various halo sites and you may get lucky!

I think I've seen people capturing in HD for free or for like 50 cent per clip.
