What he is saying is, that from the back of his monitor there are two cables. A green and red sound cable.

The red one is for microphones, you dont need it at all.

You will only need the green one, and that would go into the adapter.

Yea thats right, All I have is the green and red sound cables coming out of the monitor.

Now the pics that falcon posted helped. But the adapter that came with it isn't gonna work 'cause I have no holes, I only have the monitor alone.

To add more confusion. How am I supposed to capture? I have the dazzle plat. 170 that will connect to the computer next to me.

Oh noes

I don't think this is gonna work out. Fudge.

More help tho, if someone can figure this out.

First you need a connector, and female to male cord then a female to female cord
And I used a switchboard type thing for my audio

I had bought like $100+ of stuff i didnt need tho

you need to get one of those gender changers maybe? just taking a stab at it, thats what i used then plugged into my sound system for it to work

And I thought about capturing and everything a long time ago when I played on my monitor, but basically there was no simple way of doing it so I just didn't haha.

Yea, its really not worth it unless you have that vga HD card

Alright, thanx a lot guys. I really appreciate the help. Looks like its not worth buying all them adapters.
I just got excited 'cause I thought I could use an old pc monitor to use but I guess that isn't the case.

You could use it, I mean it gives amazing quality, expecially on widescreen monitors, but you just cant capture lol

Yea that was the real reason I wanted to do it. I was gonna sit that monitor right next to my new computer. I need to capture bfbc clips, its not a big deal with h3 'cause they got the theater mode.
So much for that, dam it's depressing.
