I personally think that this place is going through a good change. Moving further from video games in general. We have amazing conversations going on here a lot more lately. Granted it may have "slowed down" a bit. But how many people here are going through a change in their lives right now?

I agree. The Halo 3 montage doesn't hold ground like it used to. The only ones that are worth the trouble anymore are the entertaining ones. And DST2 will literally end up being the new bench mark.

I agreed with everyone else that said it is not a good idea. Not just King.

It may bring new people here. But new people are coming here everyday. You know who would enter the contest? Phurion, Wes and his crew, and some other people from H3f. And of course some randoms. You know damn well that either some shit Phurion puts out or DST2 would win.

It wouldn't work, I don't think. I doubt there'd be many entries. Which is too bad, as with the features available to us now with Theater, literally anyone could make one. But the community's been montaged out.

Hell, I've got 60+ clips on my XBox that I may as well delete to give me some space for RB DLC, because I don't think I'll ever throw 'em together for a montage.

Dying bird? I think it's getting better.

We're actually becoming a friendly community for everything, not a place filled with BS posts about Halo and whatnot. All of these debates and political convos and random stuff is so much more appealing then just random posts about level 50s in h3 and prestige in cod4.

We've evolved as a community, montages aren't popular anymore, and everything that we're doing now is definitely going as far away from dying as possible.
