Can we get a pop-up/box when we first load the page when we get a new PM?

I sometimes look up in the corner and see 'Unread 2' and I'm like, wow. Most sites have just a box, not a whole new pop up window, but a box that says new pm etc etc

Would be useful.

You can make it so it pops up a notification each time you get a PM.

Yup. Go to User CP, Click on Edit Options on the first tier down the left side of the page, and check the last box in the "Private Messaging" area.
