I had the same one. Its not that bad. I'll help you get better quality with it once you get everything all set up.

Sweet. Actually, do you have AIM so you can just clear some things up for me really quick?

Add Shybez if you can.

Nah, Snow told me about that haha. But thanks =]

Oh yeah, and I'm mainly on planning to record CoD4 clips.

EDIT: I'm still just a little confused about what I have to plug what into.

I'm planning on getting 3 AV splitter things and one set of red white yellow cables. And I plug each of those into one of the splitters, but where does the other end go?

I dunno, I'm a nub.

Ok you plug the Av splitters into the Yellow white red ports on your tv, then you have the cords from your 360 plug into one end of each of the splitters and then you plug in the second set of a/v cables to the other open ports in the splitters. I'll get a pic if you need.

Oh, and from what I understand is that there are two different types of AV splitters...some in the form of a cord and some that are metal...

I used this tutorial to setup my capture card when i got it. It shows you what AV splitters look like, and he's pretty clear on what to do. You'd be better off NOT installing the capture software that came with your cature card, and instead downloading Virtual Dub. It reduces file sizes, increases clarity and is much easier to use when you get the hang of it. AIM me for further instructions.

I embedded the video but when i tried playing it it said it was no longer avalible, lol. Whatever, just click the ugly link

you dont need splitters

if your tv and laptop are close to eachother all you need is S-Video cable for your xbox or xbox 360

once you get that, you plug the s-video and the white wire into your capture card, and the red and yellow go into your tv.

just install the software and bam
you can record
