So, I just realized that I have a Superiority Complex.

I constantly seek praise, I constantly compare myself to people, I make everything a competition, I feel as though I'm smarter than others, I feel entitled to a better life, etc.

For example: If I know I am right, I will argue with someone until they admit they are wrong. I can't stand someone telling me I'm wrong. I accept when I make mistakes, however, sometimes I can't live it down. I feel like I'm better than others. I just want it to be acknowledged.

P.S. I know i can never be the best at everything, and I understand that there are people here that could blow me away in terms of general knowledge, and I strive to reach their level of intellectualism, however, I just feel unappreciated.

P.P.S. I know that it's not right to feel like I do, and that's why I'm going to ask if anyone else feels this way, and what they do to stop themselves from getting cocky and arrogant. Because that is what is happening to me.

I can't write any further because I don't actually believe I have one, but I do. I think. Fuck, I'm confusing myself. Actually to be honest, I don't know if I have a superiority complex. Do I? Or is it that I am often superior? Shut up Tessler, we know.

How can I answer this question without knowing what a superiority complex is ... can superior people have superiority complexes?

Edit: Ok so now that I know what a superiority complex is, I can honestly say I have the biggest fucking complex known to man. I live all of the symptoms on such a grandiose level I can't actually believe it. One problem though. It says I had to of at some point felt a sense of inferiority. I don't ever remember feeling inferior.

I just had a vision of me going into see a Psychologist, telling him I need help because I have a rather large superiority complex, and him telling me I don't have one but rather that I'm just superior.

Uugh, I need help.
