Let me tell you from experence...
NOTHING, fucking nothing. sucks more than having to be around somone like you shadow for long periods of time. Speaking from experence, knowing that your friends or close relations can't accept humility kills you. When you know you're right but don't say anything because you know you'll have to put up with people who have the feeling they need to be right... or trying to have a emotional conversation with someone who no matter what feels like they have to dominate the conversation when you're in pain, or doesn't have the mindset to change there views.... it hurts.
Just incentive to be a little more open, it sucks to be on the other end. And I know I loose alot of respect for those people.

If you really think your that special or that you have superiority complex bullshit you should probably kill yourself.
If you feel that you need to be the best at everything, thats not superiority complex, that's insecure. It's sad people need to try to be the best at everything.

Wow...
ANYWAY, I feel the same way. I like being smart and having knowledge of things most people don't. I also get very annoyed when someone in my class doesn't know something I do. I think that they are stupid. I feel like an ass though...

It's only a superiority complex if you assume other people might in some way shape or form be correct or as good as you at some point.. if you don't hey, you're just a winner all the time then!
@ Nick: I would rather have a superiority complex then be totally incapable of comprehending things. How's that going for you?

I've talked to many people that are like that and i hate it, they have to be right and are always right. its dumb and pisses me off. Then again i know they cant help it. If i'm arguing with a person who says I'm wrong but i know I'm right about something, there is really no point to keep arguing about it, its just going to keep dragging on.
wait so when you guys with this problem are debating about something you either know nothing about or know little, you would still think your right? I'm not trying to start anything, I'm just curious on how you guys think.

@ Abaco, I know what you are saying Abaco, but I would never argue with anyone unless I was 100% certain that I am correct. Also, I've only been stubborn and rude to one person who came to me seeking emotional help, as my views were too implanted in my mind for her to change them. But that has never happened since.
For clarification, I'll tell you what her situation was. A friend and I were making fun of emo kids (this was a while back, I'm more mature now) and talking about how stupid cutting is. We were in a chat and my friend Taylor was offended, because she used to cut. She asked us to stop and my friend made one last remark and she left. I privately IM'ed her and she was pissed at me and I basically told her what I thought about cutting, how it's socially engineered and basically asking for attention. She said it was a chemical imbalance in your brain, I told her that was called depression and that if she was alone on an island, she would have never thought of hurting herself to relieve pain. I told her she gave into a social trend.
I felt bad afterward, but I still think I'm right.
@ Llama, I would never debate unless I had a good handle on the issue. I like to throw in little facts during debates to spark up conversation so I learn more, but I only feel right, when I 100% know I'm right. Then if the person disagrees, tells me I'm wrong, I will provide the facts and evidence to them, which helped me form my position, until they yield.

AHAHAHAHA, that's called not wanting to mediocre at everything we do, which is a far superior trait to your general apathy towards improvement on the basis of 'being yourself". Who the fuck are you? You are nothing special, you're a product of your environment. If "myself" was a lazy, unmotivated dipshit, I see no reason to be "myself", it'd be depressing.

It's not just being in competition with other people to better yourself. Superiority complex also involves being cocky(it's not exactly the right word) about how good you are.
