My High School is Fucking Me in the Butt
Ten years ago, at the start of second grade, the administration of our school district offered my parents and I the chance to move up a grade level in Math. Pending my scores on the 2nd Grade "Final", I could begin taking 3rd grade Math along with my other 2nd grade classes. Well apparently I passed and was moved up, and for all this time I've been a year ahead, most recently taking Calculus AB (the highest level course my high school offers) as a Junior.
So for ten years we've known I would have to find an alternative for Senior year. It wouldn't be logical to just skip a year, notably because what's the fucking point of moving up a year if you're just gonna get kicked back down later along the road. Not to mention as a likely Engineering/Chemistry/Physics major, it's kinda fucking stupid to not take a math course.
Long story short, the district is now refusing to pay for anything. The year has already started, and we are nowhere. Last we heard, and this is no joke, they "googled around and found an online course at the University of Oklahoma". Of course, not at their expense.
Needless to say, I'm pretty fucking pissed.

Take a course at a local community college. I know a lot of high school students around here take college courses. It'll count towards your diploma as well. And did you really expect them to pay for a college course? That's not happening.

One of my friends took Algebra 2 as a freshmen, then he doubled up with Geometry and Pre-Cal. Now he is taking Calculus AB. I wonder what he will get senior. But how can they not give you a class?

Seriously. Throw that shit in their face. See what they say. You just need the Math credit right?
Or you will have to do what Critical said. And their are a TON of grants and what not out there for smart little kids like you.
