It's not how you're making it out to be because you obviously can't introduce someone to a city literally. It is being used metaphorically.

He's the one calling me stupid, and I get threatened with a ban. Politics ruin way too much. Yes, I went over the top with my last 2 posts, but everyone starts to fight once an election comes around. People who are friends all of a sudden want to rip each others head off. It happened with me and my aunt, who also happens to be my boss. I'm just going to leave politics alone on here.

I've never stooped to the immature name calling game like yourself, let that be known. And yes, I would seem that politics do seem to make you upset, so you might be right in sticking out of them if you can't handle it. Good idea.
