Pork Chop- Welding is a good job. My wife is actually the BEST welder I know. She recieved Senior welder of the year out of about 200 kids. Her brother travels doing welding and has not made 57 bucks a hour. More around 35 on really good jobs. But he gets paid mad Per Diem.

The only reason i get paid so much, is because its my brothers company, and im a good worker. Two of my brothers best workers get paid 20+ an hour. And who do you think is lieing about their jobs?

My dad's a pipefitter.
And a really good one.
When we moved out here from Michigan, he had a job before we even got here.
All the major contractors know who he is.
Right now he's a foreman though, working on general foreman.

And I don't doubt the $57/hour, my dad worked a aluminum welding job for a couple months that payed $50-something an hour.

I'm not too sure.
My dad's men don't get paid much as most of them are illegal, but I think when we first moved here he started out at around $15, which isn't too bad, but now he's making $30-something.

first of all bird u dont know, yes ur wife may be the best welder u know, but that doesnt mean u can compare her to anyone else that welds, and then criticize what is proven

and im not talking about the shit where u sit in a chair and weld the parts in front of u...if u did some research before u fucked me, u would have found out that its called a boilermaker, and the boilermakers union gets paid exactly what i said and gets all the benefits i said, AND if u are a certified CWI (certified wewld inspector) or a NDT (non destructive testing) specialist no matter where u are u get paid extra

and if u dont beieve me u just say so and i will get the aws book of average wages and benifits for u and scan it so u can have proof

also i am the sixth best welder in the state of minnesota according to skills usa
(not trying to sound full of myself)


BTW i get paid 9.00 at my current job

Icy, my dads a contractor//carpenter so I do that with him a lot also. He only pays me about $13.50 an hour though.

For Panera I get paid $8.05/h
