My dads best friend works in the lawn business, works a lot some days, works less others. Gets paid the same every day though.
I look at it as, a job is a job, regardless how much you're making. You're being responsible enough to get off your ass and do something with your life.

Yes you have to work you dumb bitch.
How different is Labor Day to you than any other day? You're working for money and now you want a day off because our government made it a holiday? The world doesn't stop because of a holiday, people still need gas, and gas stations still need to make money. Such is the way with all business, you're just a pawn, complaining for no reason.

I actually thought it was a socially accepted thing to get paid extra on holidays. The kid that I worked with today had the same mindset as those girls you were talking about. I got sucked into thinking the same way. Normally, I don't care when I work, or how much I get paid. Work gives me something to do, and I make money. The reason I started to argue with you was because you went from arguing with Primos to essentially calling me a bitch. It wasn't necessary at all. I told him where I work and how I feel about it.

I work at Panera Bread as a Busboy, Cashier, and Line Worker. Work full time about 35 hours a week until school starts in two days.
KSAHBFKBF was that pay and a half deal. Worked 7 hours =)

I usually work doubles at the restaurant and end up at the store when I'm not. My day off is typically monday unless something comes up at the store.

My two cents:
Tessler stop being a punk and telling people to go out and get work. You work at your families place for god sakes. How hard is that? Stop criticizing people who have REAL jobs. Working at your families restaurant must be the easiest thing in the world. Now, I'm not saying that you don't actually work, or work had, I'm saying it's completely different to those who work real jobs. They have to deal with people that hate them and wouldn't think twice about putting them out on the street. You don't have to deal with any sort of pressure-you're set no matter what.
Maybe that's why you don't realize that people who work normal jobs are granted leave on holidays. Yes, that's what happens out there. Not really hard to believe. Since they have to work bitch hours and days, they're compensated, that's how it works. They don't just automatically get off because their family owns the place.
Now, since you challenged people to "go out and get it", why don't you try it yourself?
