AE3 CS3 + Installing Trapcode Particular Help.

Well basically I'm making my intro to my montage now I have all the programs, but I really want/need Trapcode Particular, I tried installing it correctly a million times and I can't manage to do it.
I don't think I'm putting it in the correct folders.
It's on a Mac.
If anyone can help it'd be much appreciated.
